What is Esports Betting at ipad789
Esports (Electronic Sports) is a globally recognised competitive format where players compete in video games. Esports betting works just like football or horse racing betting — you pick the tournament and team you want, predict the outcome, and place your bet.
The ipad789 Esports section brings together tournaments from top esports titles including Dota 2, CS2 (Counter-Strike 2), League of Legends, Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, Valorant and King of Glory, all in one place. Myanmar players will find the Mobile Legends Ban & Pick Series and Free Fire international tournaments especially exciting to bet on.
A key feature of the ipad789 Esports section is Live Betting, which lets you place bets at the same time as the live stream. You can bet Pre-match before your chosen tournament starts, and also bet Live In-Play while the match is happening.

Betting Market Types Explained
Esports betting includes market types similar to football — Handicap, Over/Under and Match Winner — plus Esports-specific markets such as —
- First Map Winner — bet on which team wins the first Map / Round
- Total Maps Played — bet Over / Under on the total number of Maps played in the match
- First Kill / First Blood — pick the team that gets the first kill
- Tournament Outright — predict and bet on the tournament champion in advance
- Live In-Play — bet with real-time odds while the match is in progress

How Esports Odds Work — A Simple Guide
Odds represent how much you can win based on the amount you bet. ipad789 Esports displays Decimal Odds (e.g. 1.80, 2.50, 3.20), which are the most widely used format among Myanmar players.
Example 1 (Decimal Odds): In a Team A vs Team B match, if Team A's odds are 1.80, betting 10,000 Ks on Team A to win returns 10,000 × 1.80 = 18,000 Ks (profit 8,000 Ks).
Example 2 (Underdog): If Team B's odds are 3.20, betting 10,000 Ks on Team B to win returns 32,000 Ks. Higher odds mean the outcome is harder to achieve, but the payout is bigger.
| Market | Example | Odds (Decimal) | Return on 10,000 Ks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Match Winner | Team A to Win | 1.80 | 18,000 Ks |
| Match Winner | Team B to Win | 2.20 | 22,000 Ks |
| Total Maps Over 2.5 | Over 3 Maps Played | 1.90 | 19,000 Ks |
| First Map Winner | Team A Wins First Map | 2.05 | 20,500 Ks |
